The CHU, a Founding Partner of the NExT Initiative, is being actively engaged in the process of concluding a formal association with the New University in Nantes. Several governing bodies of the CHU voted unanimously for this project :
- the Board of Directors (« Directoire« ) on November 17th 2016;
- the Supervisory Board (« Conseil de surveillance« ) on December 5th 2016 and the Medical Commission (« commission médicale d’Etablissement ») on December 12th 2016

April 2016 – the University of Nantes meets Université Laval in Quebec to discuss pedagogical innovation
April 2016 – A Professor from Ecole Centrale de Nantes is elected member of the Council for Studies of the University of Nantes
